Open Letter To non-Representative Kaptur

Awhile back I did a post about my email to my U.S. Representative (there's a fucking misnomer). You may find the whole post here.

Here's the email I sent:

I am urging a NO vote if H.R. 308 the "Large Capacity Ammunition Feeding Device Act" comes out of committee. This, as well as all other firearms related bills do nothing to curtail the activities of criminals. Criminals, by definition, do NOT adhere to these ridiculous restraints put on LAWFUL citizens who LEGALLY obtain and own guns. These so called "large capacity" magazines are used by law-abiding citizens to defend themselves. Taking them away leaves them at the DIS-advantage compared to the criminals who will still have them. Please do NOT give the criminals any more of an advantage.

My illustrious Representative or designated ass-kisser (her's, not MINE) answered with the following letter which I received recently by snail mail. (Highlights mine, of course)

My response to Ms. Kaptur: ( I refuse to refer to her as my representative as it is clear she doesn't give a fuck what I said since it clashes with her obviously anti-gun ignorance.)

Dear Marcy,

Since when are the "rights of law abiding gun owners and the rights of all citizens to feel safe" TWO different things? Law-abiding gun owners are NOT the ones to be feared by citizens. Law-abiding gun owners are the ones who feel safe from the CRIMINALS.

In your response you, or your appointed wannabe, state "  At this time there is no bill banning all guns in either the U.S. House of Representatives or the U.S. Senate."

Well thank you for clearing that up. This tells me that short of that complete ban, you will vote for ANY ANTI-GUN legislation that comes around. You and your ilk want to erode the Second Amendment one bit at a time hoping we LAW-ABIDING gun Owners won't notice.

However, I doubt that you would refrain from voting "Yay" on a complete ban. Your position is more obvious than you seem to think your snide reply reveals. You completely ignored the object of my letter and instead addressed ONLY legislation that would ban guns entirely.

I find your response condescending and I don't appreciate any elected official responding with such an obviously "fuck-off" attitude.

Ms. Kaptur, the fact that someone as ignorant as you ever got elected to office scares the hell out of me because that means I live among the ignorant who voted for you.

Rest assured I will not bother you with anymore letters. You do not represent me. You are a self-serving, arrogant as well as ignorant, ass.

No, my letters and efforts will be toward getting your worn-out ass out of the House come next election.
