Is Parler As Free Speech Postive As They Claim?

 I'm not so sure. Or maybe it's just that their app is still in need of some serious debugging.

A week or 2 ago (it all runs together) I "parlayed", or so I thought, a post turning Gov. DeWine's scary Covid numbers into realistic percentage data which is what should be being reported. I had several hashtags associated with it and I can't recall for absolute sure but, I believe I saw the post show up on my feed before I logged out.

I logged on today for the first time since (yes, I am not a daily social media geek) posting to see if it received any comments and it wasn't there. I checked my violations list and all categories still sit at 0. I checked my gmail for notification of some reason the parlay wasn't posted or removed. Nada.

So, what the fuck? I tried Twitter several years ago for a few months and found it such a clusterfuck I got the hell out of there. I deleted my Facebook account over 3 weeks ago. I'm on no other social media. Maybe I'm not meant to be. I don't log on often and when I do there is so much content to try to catch up on it's just overwhelming and discouraging.

Ah, well. back to watching videos and listening to podcasts.

Just another test just like all the others. Prior to this year virtually every clinical test ever done concluded that the general public wearing masks wasn't effective. Even in the beginning of the Covid-19 era all the "experts" said no need to wear a mask. Then, for no explained reason, they changed their collective atrophied minds. Mind you, they quoted NO tests, NO clinical trials to back up their NEW claim but, insisted we must all comply with their Draconian mandates.

 

Why Do Politicians And Doctors Insist They Can Control Nature?

 You've got politicians and sundry other imbeciles believing that humans can control the climate. You have politicians, doctors and the same sundry imbeciles believing they can control a virus by controlling humans. NEWS FLASH: Neither of these things is possible.

First, the climate. Seriously?! The climate has been in charge for billions of years. We aren't doing anything to change it and we aren't going to stop it from changing.

The virus. Ah yes, severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2); the coronavirus; Covid-19; Kung-flu; The Vid; The Rona; Wuhan flu; Wu-flu; Chinese virus; and all the other nomenclatures. Politicians, listening to doctors on their payroll, believe they can control the virus by controlling the people. And the same people who cry "Fascist" and "Hitler" and "Dictator" go along with all the Draconian dictatorial mandates handed down by power-drunk governors and disparage anyone who decides Liberty and Freedom are still alive in this country.

In this day and age with the density of populations, you are not going to stop the spread of the virus. Certainly not to the extent that justifies ruining the booming (prior to the Wu-flu Panic of 2020) economy. Prior to this particular Chinese bred virus we were always told that viruses "have to run their course". And it's obvious to those of us who check multiple sources OUTSIDE of government-sanctioned sources, that this virus is pretty much running it's course. 

With so many people wearing masks and yet the numbers are again rising seems to point out that the masks worn in open public settings don't work. You know just like virtually every study done prior to 2020. (See my posts from Sept. 17th for examples)

Wear a mask if it makes you feel safer. Stay away from people not wearing a mask if it frightens you. Me? I believe all the studies saying mask worn by the general public aren't effective. I believe in Freedom, Liberty and keeping the economy and this great country going (despite the possibility a Biden/Harris takeover).

In-Person Voters In Ohio "Encouraged" To Follow Mask "Recommendations"

From Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose's website (Bolds are mine):

The Ohio Voting Safety Plan sets in place guidance that will enhance the ability of county boards of elections to keep their voters and election officials safe. The plan sets in place 48 points that include the following:

• Routine cleaning of voting machines and e-pollbooks
• Mask requirements and regular hand washing for all poll workers
• Social distancing recommendations
• Making curbside voting available

All voters will be encouraged to wear a mask, just as the vast majority of Ohioans do at the grocery store or a restaurant. It’s important to note that while the Secretary of State may put requirements in place for election officials, no one can or should be able to  prevent electors from casting their ballot, even if the elector chooses not to follow the recommendations in place to protect poll workers and other voters. In addition to opportunities to vote early by mail and early in-person, voters choosing to cast their ballot on election day will have the option to vote curbside if they are physically unable to enter a polling location.

 "Encouraged" and "recommendations" being key words. NO ONE can force you to follow a "recommendation". Don't let poll workers bully you. Stand for what's right.

The data doesn't support Gov. DeWine's mandates. Time to unmask Ohio.

 You have to be stupid not to get it by now. You're listening to politicians, media assholes (formerly known as journalists) and doctors on the government payrolls.

Research for yourself. There's way too much opposing evidence for it not to have credence.

Hell, even the CDC, The New England Journal of Medicine and others have published papers in the past on the ineffectiveness of masks. Only after Covid-19 and the misguided mask mandates did they change their minds. Something is wrong when this happens. 

What started out as a potentially deadly pandemic has evolved into a political shit storm and too many people are buying into too much misinformation, lies, propaganda and general bullshit.

I'm not telling anyone NOT to wear a mask. I'm saying stop demanding EVERYONE else wear one. It's called freedom of choice, right? Besides, I can't spread what I don't have.

Protect the vulnerable. Which was proven long ago to be only the elderly or those with certain preexisting conditions.

Open businesses back up and let's get the economy we had 6 months ago back. It's already on it's way but, it should NEVER have gotten this bad to begin with. 

Why more businesses didn't stand up to Governor DeWine and others like him, before now is a mystery to me. They knew they were going to be hurting being completely closed for any amount of time and yet blindly followed the dictators' unconstitutional orders.

This post is predominately about the math and my opinion. One can't be disputed and the other is well, not subjective as true or false.

The math that too many people are too lazy, ignorant, apathetic or have blind-faith in Dictator DeWine to do themselves and certainly never published or reported by the Main Stream Media, tells a somewhat less frightening story than the Columbus Commandant projects the raw numbers to be.

Yes, any number of deaths are, of course tragic but, deaths happen every day. And these numbers don't dictate shutting down an economy that was doing great right up until the severe over-reaction of governors across the United States.

Little A. Dolph down there in Columbus loves throwing the numbers out there, as they grow, in a dramatic, "Oh-woe-is-me" fashion, wringing his hands and declaring how bad everything is turning out and how he "has to" do these terrible things and wishes he didn't.

He claims not to be trying to scare people. That's bullshit. That's exactly what he tries to and succeeds in doing. He's acting as if the scenarios in the horribly off-target models (yes, plural) he and Dr. Inanimate Amy used back in March and April to scare the hell out of everybody, is what's happening now.

He is reacting to the real numbers as if they were the catastrophic predictions of the failed models. Remember the "100,000 new cases per day" that Dr. Cut-n-Run Acton predicted in the beginning? Yet, 4 or 5 months later we haven't even got a running-total of 100K!

WHAT HE SHOULD BE DOING is telling the REAL story with the REAL DATA and stop the fear mongering

WHAT HE SHOULD BE DOING is reversing his horrible abomination of a plan and open everything up with RECOMMENDATIONS. NOT MANDATES with threats of fines and arrests.

WHAT EVERYONE ELSE SHOULD DO is stop being the fucking bullies that you decry in any other situation. Wear a face covering if you think it helps but, give others the same freedom of choice not to without the self-righteous bullshit. Just keep your distance if it's such a frightening thing to you. You're supposed to be doing that anyway.

Those numbers Master Mike spews from his craggy maw look completely different when given in terms of percentages.

And in statistics, those are the important numbers. Statistic analysis is all about breaking down the big scary numbers into meaningful, useful data and getting a clearer picture of the situation.

And now the movie folks! Um, the math (using numbers posted 7/17/20):

A grand running-total of 0.6% of Ohio's population have had the virus over the the entire time they've been tracking the Covid cases. Since what, Feb. or Mar.? That percentage is the same whether using the confirmed cases (68,175) or "Total" cases (72,280) which includes "CDC Expanded Case Definition" (read Bullshit) whatever the fuck that means.

Only 13% - 14% of "cases" have been hospitalized, depending on whether you use Confirmed or Total Cases. That's .08% of the population.

Using only the Confirmed Cases for the denominator, 4.2% - 4.6% of cases have resulted in deaths, depending on whether you use the Confirmed Deaths or the "CDC Expanded Death Definition" for the numerator. Those percentages drop of course if you use the "CDC Expanded Case Definition" for the denominator. That is 0.025% - 0.027% OF THE STATE'S POPULATION. 25/1000 to 27/1000 of ONE PERCENT.

All these percentages, of course, are based on the numbers they're telling us. Which there are many reports of inflated numbers of both cases and of deaths.

Concerning cases, there are many stories out there of people who never completed testing, but were notified of positive results. They had filled out the paperwork, then decided it was taking too long (I've heard 2 to 3 hours in a lot of scenarios) so they left without actually having been swabbed (or "nose-raped" as one of my friends calls it). Are they all true stories? I don't know. They certainly sound plausible when I've heard them. Are some true and others not? Again, I don't know, but with the government involved, how sure are you either way?

The number of deaths has undoubtedly been inflated. There are just way too many of these stories, many by healthcare workers directly involved. People having tested positive, even if asymptomatic, who died from OBVIOUSLY other causes such as vehicle accidents or some other pre-existing terminal illness where the Covid was NOT an actual contributing factor. Some of these stories have even made the MSM.

So look, whether you think I'm crazy or worse, I hope at the very least you will take it upon yourself to look a little deeper than what the Governor, Dr.'s paid by tax dollars and the MSM tell you to believe. If you NEVER question authority, you can be lead around like sheep and never know you're entering the slaughter house.
